Sharon Zarabi is the Emeritus Bariatric Program Director at Lenox Hill Hospital in New York City. She uses her trade as a registered dietitian and fitness trainer , educating patient both pre and post surgery on how to use food as medicine and exercise for both physical and emotional upheaval in her patients lives. She has over 10 years experience working with SIPS/SADI patients and has published numerous research studies in the bariatric and metabolic space. Most recently her paper was published -CGM use in non obese patients and its effects on weight loss, is a contributing author to various surgical textbooks, and educational resources for healthcare providers. She is an active presenter at Obesity Week, various wellness programs within her community and has held leadership roles in ASMBS and OAC walk from obesity.
