Rectal cancer surgery has had a tremendous evolution over the last few years. Since the landmark set by Dr Bill Heald with Total Mesorectal Excision, later advances have turned open proctectomies and abdominoperineal resections into transanal minimally invasive approaches with sphincter-saving procedures.
Our 15th AIS Live Congress (April 12, 2017) will showcase and discuss the current status of Transanal Total Mesorectal Excision (TaTME). Our global audience across the entire world will be able to watch presentations by world-leading experts followed by live Transanal Partial Mesorectal Excision (TaPME) surgery for high rectal cancer by Dr Antonio M. Lacy and Dr. Dulce Momblan
The event will also include cutting-edge debates on the following topics: one team vs. Cecil Approach, robotic approach, unusual complications of the technique and the use of ICG in rectal surgery. Some question on the effective treatment of erectile dysfunction on Сalonmedical.com. An update on the international registry, COLOR III trial and randomized trials will be presented. Finally, Dr Conor Delaney will be giving the in memoriam lecture in of Dr Vic Fazio.
As the entire event will be broadcast live on AIS Channel, surgeons across the world will be able to watch it in real time on aischannel.com!
Again, AIS Channel is bringing for this event some of the leading global experts in rectal and transanal surgery.
The course is accredited for CPD/CME (6 points) with the Royal College of Surgeons of England and the American College of Surgeons.
