Dr. Carmen Pozo's professional journey began with her medical studies at the Universidad de Medicina Córdoba from 2006 to 2012. During this time, she undertook an Erasmus Scholarship at the University of Berlin's Charité Campus in 2010-2011 and a Seneca Scholarship at the Universidad Autónoma de Madrid's Hospital Universitario La Paz in 2011-2012. She also gained valuable research experience through a Research Scholarship with the International Federation of Medical Student's Association (IFMSA) at the Uniwersytet Wrocławski, Wrocław, Poland, in July 2009.
Dr. Pozo specialized in Urology and Andrology through vocational training at the Hospital Universitario Fundación Alcorcón, Madrid, under the guidance of Prof. Dr. C. Llorente, from May 2013 to May 2018. She furthered her expertise with an Observership at the General Hospital of the City of Vienna (AKH) from February to March 2017, under the mentorship of Prof. Dr. S. Shariat. In July 2018, she earned the qualification of "Fellow of the European Board of Urology (FEBU)."
Dr. Pozo has held specialist positions at prestigious institutions. She served as a Specialist at the General Hospital of the City of Vienna (AKH) under the leadership of Prof. Dr. S. Shariat from July 2018 to April 2021. Currently, she works as a Specialist at Klinik Donaustadt since May 2021, focusing on running a special outpatient clinic for andrology. Additionally, since January 2022, she has operated a private ordination in Skodagasse 32, providing expert medical care to her patients.
