Dr. Christopher Digesu is a thoracic surgeon at Boston Medical Center and is an Assistant
Professor of Surgery at Boston University Chobanian & Avedisian School of Medicine. His clinical
interests focus on robotic and minimally invasive thoracic surgery including thoracic oncology
and benign foregut surgery. His research interests focusing on improving disparities in the care
of thoracic oncology patients and with advancing diversity within in the field of cardiothoracic
surgery. He is currently the faculty chair for the Advancing Cultural Competency & Equity in
Surgical Specialties (ACCESS) group at Boston Medical Center.
