Dr. Eleni Karatrasoglou is an officially certified minimal invasive gynecologist currently working in Athens, Greece.
She has a special scientific interest in the role of artificial intelligence and augmented reality in laparoscopic and robotic surgeries , which is the also the thesis of her PhD.
She has completed her subspecialty in laparoscopic surgery at the university hospital of Clermont-Ferrand, France with full scholarship, under the supervision of Prof Michel Canis.
She has also completed a 6month oncology fellowship at the university of Gémelli, Rome under the supervision of Prof. Anna Fagotti and Prof Giovanni Scambia.
Since 2019 she has collaborated with world expert Professor Nicolas Bourdel on the role of Augmented reality in Gynecologic malignancies.
She has received the 2nd prize at ESGE 2020 and the 1st prize at ESGE 2021 for her research.
She is a member of ESGE, SERGS and ESGO Society.
