Dr. Fabian Miguel Lopez Quiroz is a resident doctor in the Oncological Surgery service at Hospital III Goyeneche in Arequipa, Peru. He completed his higher education at Santa Maria Catholic University, where he also undertook his medical internship at Hospital III Goyeneche.
In addition to his medical training, Dr. Lopez Quiroz earned degrees in Medical Auditing and Occupational Health during the years 2019 to 2020. Currently, he is a fourth-year resident in the Oncology Surgery department and, in just one month, will transition to become an MD in Surgical Oncology in the Department of Radiation Oncology at Hospital III Goyeneche.
Since 2023, he has held the position of Chief Resident, where he has taken on leadership responsibilities within the department. In April 2024, he developed a course on laparoscopic skills for cancer patients, which was successfully conducted at the University of San Agustin in Arequipa.
