Harveshp Mogal, MD, MS, FACS, DABS, FSSO, is a board-certified surgical oncologist who specializes in the care of patients with advanced cancers of the abdomen including peritoneal cancers, gastrointestinal neuroendocrine tumors and sarcoma. He is the Director of UW Medical Center and Fred Hutchinson Cancer Center's hyperthermic intraperitoneal chemotherapy (HIPEC) program.

Dr. Mogal is passionate about team-based, multidisciplinary and evidenced-based care of patients. His clinical practice is focused on the surgical care of patients with advanced abdominal cancers including appendix cancer, peritoneal carcinomatosis/ pseudomyxoma peritonei, mesothelioma, sarcoma and gastrointestinal neuroendocrine tumors, including minimally invasive/robotic approaches. He also treats patients with melanoma and other skin cancers.

Dr. Mogal is an Associate Professor in the Department of Surgery at the UW School of Medicine. He conducts clinical research focusing on the outcomes of patients who undergo surgical treatment for peritoneal malignancies and sarcomas. He also serves as the director of regional cancer therapies at UW Medicine.
