Dr. Lauren Geaney

Dr. Lauren Geaney is a fellowship trained foot and ankle surgeon and assistant professor of orthopedic surgery at the UConn Musculoskeletal Institute at UConn Health. She completed both her medical training and orthopedic training at UConn. Dr. Geaney then completed her foot and ankle fellowship at Mercy Medical Center in Baltimore, Maryland under the leadership of Dr. Mark Myerson. Dr Geaney’s clinical practice focuses on the treatment of all foot and ankle problems. Her particular interests include arthritis of the foot and ankle, ankle instability and sports related injuries, tendonitis, fractures and forefoot deformities such as bunions and hammertoes. She is also active in research dedicated to enhancing the knowledge of foot and ankle pathology. Her goal is to provide personalized, quality care to find surgical and nonsurgical solutions for foot and ankle pain and deformity.
