Dr. Michael Reinhorn

I am a surgeon specializing in inguinal hernia, umbilical hernia and abdominal core health. I have performed over 4000 abdominal wall hernia repairs, over 700 gallbladder surgeries and more than 130 successful Cleft Lift operations for pilonidal in 21 years of practice. I constantly strive to improve my practice and am investigating innovative ways to deliver the highest value care possible. I am an Associate Clinical Professor in Surgery at Tufts, and the previous surgery clerkship site director at Newton-Wellesley Hospital for Tufts University School of Medicine. I serve the American Board of Surgery as a consultant. I chair the opioid reduction task force at the ACHQC.org
