Dr. Mingguang Zhang works in the Colorectal Surgery Department at the National Cancer Center/Cancer Hospital, Chinese Academy of Medical Sciences. He graduated from Tsinghua University/Peking Union Medical College and currently serves as an Attending Physician, M.D. Dr. Zhang is a member of the Gastrointestinal Surgery Branch of the Chinese Society for Geriatric Healthcare and serves as the Secretary of the Colorectal Cancer Branch of the Beijing Society of Integrated Medicine.

In his career, Dr. Zhang has achieved notable success in colorectal surgery competitions, including being the Champion in the Low and Middle Rectal Cancer Group at the 10th Greater China Colorectal and Laparoscopic Surgery Master Competition. He also won the Champion title in the 3T Gastrointestinal Tumor Immunotherapy + Comprehensive Treatment Speech Contest and secured Second Place in the 4th Colorectal Surgery Clinical Skills Invitation Competition (CREATE).
