Graduated from the University of Parma (ITA), completed his General Surgery and then Thoracic Surgery residency program and subsequently obtained a PhD Diploma in Cardio-thoracic Surgery. Enhanced his experience with Fellowships at Royal Brompton Hospital, London, UK (P Goldstraw ) and at Hôpital Pasteur CHU Nice, FRA (Professors J Moroux). Staff Surgeon at the National Cancer Center in Milan, Italy (Prof U Pastorino), Consultant at European Institute of Oncology (IEO) (Prof L Spaggiari), Consultant at Papworth Hospital, Cambridge (UK) in 2014 and as Chief Thoracic Surgeon Consultant in ASL Romagna, Italy.
