Dr. Priscila Antozzi is a Bariatric Surgeon and Medical Director of the Special Surgery Center in Bahía Blanca, Argentina.
She has been part of the staff of the Surgery department of the Italian Hospital of Bahía Blanca from 2009 to 2015, mainly coordinating the residency program, since then she is the main director and medical coordinator of the Bariatric Surgery department at the Special Surgery Center that is based within of the Italian and Spanish Hospital of the city of Bahía Blanca.
Dr. Antozzi is the current Coordinator of the Training and Fellowship Committee of the Argentine Society of Bariatric Surgery (SACO). She has been a member of the SACO Executive Council since 2016, serving as Vice President from 2020-2022. She is a regular member of the Argentine Association of Surgery (AAC) and a regular member of IFSO.
She is the author and co-author of numerous articles and chapters related to obesity surgery. She has vast experience in participating in congresses, courses, consensuses, and guidelines for Argentine and international calls. Her main professional and scientific interests are focused on bariatric surgery with active participation in educational programs of a formative nature.
