Professor Richard Cohen is a Consultant Colorectal Surgeon at University College London Hospital. He is Professor of Surgery in the Division of Surgery and Interventional Science, Faculty of Medical Sciences at University College London.

He is also Clinical Professor of Surgery at The Cleveland Clinic Lerner School of Medicine at Case Western Reserve University. He is Chief of Surgery, Medical Director (Deputy) and Chair of the Institute of Digestive Diseases and Surgery at Cleveland Clinic London.

Professor Cohen has done research over many years in various fields within Colorectal Surgery and lectured widely around the world. He has published extensively and has a Scopus H-Index of 33.

His current areas of research include epigenetics in Crohn’s disease and microvesicles in colorectal cancer.
