With nearly two decades of clinical and professional experience, Dr. Rosa María Jiménez Rodríguez has dedicated herself fully to the field of surgery and Coloproctology. Among her accomplishments, she holds a patent for a surgical technique assisting patients undergoing multiple abdominal interventions. Her research focuses on the outpatient monitoring and diagnosis of surgical wound infections through telemedicine.
Currently serving as a specialist in the Coloproctology unit at the Hospital Universitario Virgen del Rocío, Dr. Jiménez has also collaborated at the Hospital Universitario Puerta del Mar. She devotes part of her research to Minimally Invasive Surgery, and has been recognized by the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) and Singularity University for a residency at the NASA campus.
