Dr. Takashi Suda, M.D. is a specialist in thoracic surgery. He is an Associate Professor in the Department of General Thoracic Surgery at Fujita Health University Hospital located in Toyoake, Japan. 

Specialized in minimally invasive respiratory surgery. In 2005, he reported thoracoscopic surgery for malignant pleural mesothelioma. In 2009, he performed Japan's first da Vinci robotic surgery for lung cancer. In 2012, he developed a subxiphoid single-port thymectomy procedure with carbon dioxide insufflation for thymoma and myasthenia gravis. In 2014, he developed a subxiphoid robotic thymectomy method. He has performed over 1,500 respiratory surgeries and has overseen more than 3,000 surgical procedures. He has provided surgical guidance at over 110 institutions worldwide, conducting more than 200 sessions.
