As a Consultant Colorectal & Robotic Surgeon at Apollo Hospitals, I have been working in the hospital and health care industry for over 13 years, with a focus on colorectal cancer management and minimally invasive robotic surgery. I am also the National Lead for the Apollo Robotic Colorectal Surgery Programme, and the Clinical Lead in Colorectal Surgery at Apollo Hospitals Chennai.
I have built the first subspecialist colorectal surgery service in an Indian corporate hospital, and have performed the most cost-effective and highest volumes of robotic colorectal surgery procedures in India. I am passionate about advancing the field of colorectal surgery, and have been involved in medical education, social media messaging, and research. I am also the Director of the Chennai Colorectal Clinic, the first dedicated clinic for colorectal diseases in Chennai.
