Dr. Xishan Wang is a leading expert in colorectal surgery, holding key roles in medical institutions and professional associations. As the Director of the Colorectal Surgery Department at the National Cancer Center/Cancer Hospital Chinese Academy of Medical Sciences/Peking Union Medical College, he also serves as President at the Shanxi Hospital of the Cancer Hospital Chinese Academy of Medical Sciences.

In his academic capacity, Dr. Wang chairs the Colorectal Cancer Committee of the Chinese Medical Doctor Association and the Chinese Anti-Cancer Association. He is also President of both the International Alliance of Natural Orifice Specimen Extraction Surgery and the China Alliance of Natural Orifice Specimen Extraction Surgery.
