Dr. Xu Guan, a resident at the Department of Colorectal Surgery at National Cancer Center/ Cancer Hospital Chinese Academy of Medical Sciences, completed his MB, MM, and PhD degrees at Harbin Medical University, China, between 2006 and 2017. Under the supervision of Prof. Wang Xishan, he focused on colorectal surgery.

Dr. Guan is actively involved in combating colorectal cancer, serving as Chairman of the Colorectal Cancer Committee of the Chinese Medical Doctor Association and the Chinese Anti-Cancer Association. He is also the President of the International Alliance of NOSES.
