The Venezuelan Society of Mastology (SVM) was founded on August 16, 1982, with the mission of promoting the study, research, and practice of mastology in Venezuela. Since its inception, SVM has tirelessly worked to elevate the standards of breast health care, fostering continuous education and professional development among its members. Over the years, the society has grown into a recognized reference in breast health, organizing a wide range of educational activities, including congresses, courses, conferences, workshops, and webinars that benefit both physicians and patients.
The values that guide the Venezuelan Society of Mastology are excellence, ethics, solidarity, and commitment to public health. SVM strives to create a collaborative environment where healthcare professionals can share knowledge and experiences, always with the goal of improving the quality of life for both women and men affected by breast health concerns.
The mission of the Venezuelan Society of Mastology is to promote breast health through education, research, and comprehensive multidisciplinary care. SVM is dedicated to raising public awareness about the importance of early diagnosis of breast diseases, while also advancing the training of healthcare professionals in best practices and the latest advancements in mastology.
