AIS Channel continues to be committed to the democratization of surgical knowledge. The continuous exchange of ideas and discussion of controversies are essential to provide the best care for patients. With this aim in mind, AIS Channel participated in the Cleveland Clinic Digestive Disease Institute (DDI) Week 2017 in Boca Raton (Florida, USA).
During this meeting the hot topics on colorectal surgery such as TaTME, watch & wait, diverticular disease, hereditary colorectal cancer and treatment of fecal incontinence and rectal prolapse were discussed by international experts as Antonio M. Lacy, Mariana Berho, Steven D. Wexner, Matthew Albert and Gina Brown among others.
AIS Channel and Dr. Antonio M. Lacy took active part in lectures as well as in TaTME and TAMIS workshops during the meeting.
AIS Channel will soon be publishing the lectures given in this meeting to continue with our objective of providing high quality surgical education all over the world.
